Key Sources Of Air Pollution Emissions

The sources of air pollution are varied showing us how complex this problem is.

For example, in Delhi we know vehicular emissions, nearby crop burning, trash burning, the emissions from 12+ coal and gas-fired power plants in Greater Delhi all play major roles in making our air so hazardous to human health. 

​Delhi's air has extremely high levels of particulate pollution (known as PM 10 and PM 2.5) and gaseous pollution (ozone, NOx, Sox).
