Care For Air Advocacy Training Program

Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida are among the world’s MOST polluted cities. We have not breathed a single ‘Good’ clean air day, in over 2 years. We and our families suffer this reality every day. Yet we do not need to accept this reality. History has proven that with effective strategies, citizens can successfully demand and achieve change to breathe clean air.

This movement requires not just awareness of the facts but also skills in strategy and communication. It requires Indians to learn from the world and then come up with Indian solutions. We need to move beyond understanding, to actually doing. In this program, CFA will use its expertise in air pollution awareness and advocacy to introduce you to the skills required to understand the air pollution crisis and demand change.

What is the CFA Advocacy Training Program?

CFA experts have developed a highly interactive program to integrate the facts of air pollution into skills and strategies to demand change. We will not lecture you. You will be learning from us and from one another. Along the way, you will discover and start to use your own skills to improve how you communicate your demands for clean air, and develop strategies to take these demands forward. CFA will start you off with these skills and, post-program, follow up and support you to take the program into your own lives and communities.

By the end of this training, you will be able to:
  • Use critical thinking and knowledge to recognize facts versus misinformation about air pollution and health harm.
  • Learn and practice communication skills to share your concerns about air pollution, in a persuasive manner, with all kinds of audiences.
  • Learn about and develop your own strategies for collective action and policy change, to take forward post-program.

Who can participate in this program?

Students, young professionals, senior citizens... CFA seeks any one who is passionate about fighting India’s air pollution crisis to join this training program. This program is open to a mixed group of participants, because it will take all of us to work together to push for real change.

Why should you sign up?

If you care about clean air and want to do more, to take your concerns a step or steps further in the movement, this program is for you. If you want to be a future leader in this movement, we need you to participate in this program.

When is the next training session(s)?

The next sessions will be announced shortly, on this page and through our social media.
