The source of Sulphur oxides is various industrial processes, electrical generation / power generation, space heating, iron heating in industries. Coal and petroleum often contain sulfur compounds, their combustion generates sulfur dioxide

Nitrogen Oxides

The source of Nitrogen oxides is road traffic and combustion processes.
Both Nitrogen Oxide and Sulphure Oxide act mainly as irritants and affect the mucous of the eyes, nose, throat, and respiratory tract.
