Tina Chadha hails from New York City. She spent more than fifteen years as a communication and brand strategist for many of the world’s most respected wellness, women’s lifestyle and consumer healthcare brands. She has extensive experience in crisis communications and corporate social responsibility campaigns for major multi-national companies. In 2009, she relocated to New Delhi, India. Within her own family, she has felt the impact of India’s air pollution problem. She believes the air we breathe is the ultimate democratizer and that clean air must be accessible to all.
Aurelia Driver Film and TV Producer, Writer
Aurelia Driver owned and operated a production company in South Africa before moving to Delhi in January 2014. It was a search for ways to protect the health of her two young children that first sparked Aurelia’s interest in issues of air quality, and led her to a broader investigation of Delhi’s pollution crisis, and its possible solutions. She is excited about being able to use her experience in the visual media in working towards broad-based community awareness.
Genevieve Chase Public Health Professional
Genevieve Chase is an American public health professional who has worked on various public health issues related to HIV/AIDS; Public-Private partnerships in health; TB and health care finance reform. She has worked in Africa, Asia and in the U.S. for organizations including the UN, the World Bank and Abt. Associates. In October 2014, Genevieve founded Delhiair.org, an informational web site about the health effects of air pollution, which continues to raise awareness on this important topic. Since that launch she has been working on, speaking about and pulling people together around the issues of air pollution, with the goal to make partnerships for creative, innovative solutions.
Beth Silverman Kotis Head, Global Outreach, DelhiAir.org
Beth Silverman Kotis has over 20 years of international experience working in government, international development, management consulting, events planning and press-related activities. She had spent much of that time living and working overseas in Southeast Asia, North Africa, the Middle East, Central Europe, the UK, and most recently India. She is the head of Global Outreach for DelhiAir.org, a web site that serves as a repository for air pollution information in Delhi with links to international standards and guidelines, current data and accredited published information on the topic. Shortly after moving to New Delhi, Beth became concerned about the air her family was breathing. It also became evident there was a lack of community knowledge and action at the time on the issue. She is determined to take part in raising public awareness and being part of the drive towards viable solutions.
